From by-products, raw material from our food processing GMP/HACCP production line

Bio21's partner from the food processing factory is certified in HACCP and EU. Our Chitin and Chitosan products are produced from high-quality raw materials (snow crab shells) and qualified for use in Chitosan food, medical devices, and pharma.

Our raw material snow crab shells for  Food-grade Chitosan, Medical-device grade Chitosan , and Pharma grade Chitosan are qualified the regulation (EU) no. 722/2012 (Medical Devices risk management and controls to prevent spreading certain animal-borne diseases to users of their products) requirements

We are committed to implementing and maintaining the highest quality systems, including QMS, HACCP, and ISO series with certification.

Quantity

Main Chitosan raw material  are snow crab shells and blue crab shells , which made of clean and fresh material. Daily directly from our GMP/HACCP food manufacturing plant, approximately 3-5 tons. Our snow crab shells' Chitosan capacity is stable at more than 60-80 tons per year

Quality

Our collaboration with a GMP/HACCP seafood factory, along with our EU certificates. Ensures that we use only the freshest crab shells from our seafood production GMP/HACCP line to manufacture Chitosan.
